Have A Go Day to showcase disability and blind sports.

British Blind Sport are working in partnership with, Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport, Vista Leicester, Action for Blind People and Ellesmere College, the event will take place at Ellesmere College on Saturday 13th May from 10:00 – 16:30pm. To register online, please click here.

Come along and take part in an entirely free day of activities including football, running, rock climbing, judo, golf, boccia, cycling and gymnastics! Friendly staff and coaches will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions. Everyone welcome, aged 5 and up.

The event will be supported by Rio double Paralympic medallist Libby Clegg and ex Paralympic athlete Dan Powell! Dan will be delivering the running sessions in the morning and you will have an opportunity to get to know them with a Q&A session at lunchtime.

Here is what they both had to say about sport and the upcoming event: "We are both really excited about attending the event and supporting people of all ages who are either just starting or already on their sporting journey. Sport has helped us to believe in ourselves and think that anything is possible. We hope that by sharing our stories and providing inspiration and motivation can do the same for those that attend and help them to believe that anything is possible when they set their mind to it".
