The Team Leicestershire Futsal Finals produced four compelling nights of action at Crown Hills Community College.
Starting from Monday, 24th February to through to Friday 28th, sides were split into two groups, with the top side from each meeting at the end of the four evenings.
The Year 7/8 Boys kicked off the week with a win for Fullhurst Academy, the year 7/8 Girls final followed with a very closely contested win for Thomas Estley Community College, Hastings High School in second place and Fullhurst Community college managed to turn it around in there final few games with goals flying in left, right and centre to secure third place with a final score of 2-0.
The third evening of finals saw the turn of the Year 9/10 Girls, with Thomas Estley retaining their winning streak to take their second victory of the week, with very close penalty shoot out against second place Brookvale Groby (2-3). Ashby School secured 3rd place after beating Sir Jonathan North 2-0.
The last final of the week was the Year 9/10 Boys, which ended with a win for Hinckley Academy, John Ferneley in 2nd place and Wigston Academy in 3rd place.
There was a real high standard of play across all four competitions, with great tactics demonstrated from every team.
