Calling Rutland's Sport and Physical Activity organisations - Share your input in a survey and join an event

Active Lincolnshire, Active Humber and Active Together have commissioned the Lincolnshire Open Research and Innovation Centre (LORIC) to investigate the economic impact and value of the physical activity and sport sector, future workforce needs aligned to predicted population changes across the Greater Lincolnshire area.

Currently LORIC are conducting a survey and seeking responses from charities, charitable trusts, community interest companies, public and private operators, agencies, providers and delivers.

Survey:

The survey will take no more than 10 minutes to complete and provide valuable information on skill demand, recruitment and retention of the workforce, and geographic and demographic considerations. Complete the survey here by midnight on the 18^th September.

What's more, Active Lincolnshire would like to extend an invitation to stakeholders from across the Greater Lincolnshire area, which includes Rutland, to join the LORIC afternoon session on workforce, taking place as part of our annual stakeholder event Moving Together: Levelling the Playing Field Across Lincolnshire. On Monday 12th September 2022 13:45-15:00 you can join an online session.

This session led by Lincolnshire Open Research and Innovation Centre (LORIC) will explore the initial findings and trends of the research they are undertaking to identify the economic impact, value and employment generated through the sport, physical activity and leisure sector focusing on the challenge of rising cost of living.

The session will consist of a 30-minute presentation followed by online discussion groups running alongside the in-person discussions. All discussions will be fed into the final research report due out in October which will be shared directly. with attendees.
