Team Leicestershire: U11 Mixed Football Finals

This weekend we had the Team Leicestershire Mixed Primary School County Finals. 11 schools from across the county attended the event at Judgemeadow Community College. Thank you and congratulations to everyone that took part, it was great to see everyone having fun and enjoying themselves.

The group games were all very close matches, with most teams still having a chance of progressing to the semi-finals right up until the final round of games. In fact, one group was so tight there was even a playoff match to separate North Luffenham and St Pauls, who finished level on points, goal difference, goals scored, and goals conceded! Additionally, the semi-final between St Pauls and Kirby Muxloe went all the way to a nail-biting penalty shootout.
