BBC Radio Leicester's Make a Difference Awards

Do you know someone who's gone that extra mile?

The BBC Radio Leicester's Make a Difference Awards are back for another year to celebrate people who are going above and beyond to make a difference where you live.

The awards are a chance to say "Thank You" and show recognition and appreciation for people who love to make life better for others.

Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and awards will be given in each category, across each local BBC radio station.

Nominations close Sunday 5 March 2023 at 11:00pm

Categories include:

• Volunteer Award - Awarded to an individual who makes a notable difference to the community by giving their time voluntarily to help out a good cause.
• Community Group Award - Awarded to a group of people who have helped to genuinely change the lives of others within the community.
• Fundraiser Award - Awarded to an individual or group of people who have gone the extra mile to raise funds for a good cause.
• The Together Award - Awarded to an individual or group of people who inspire diverse communities to come together. They do this by creating real change and breaking down barriers, bringing people from different walks of life together for a common cause.
