You're invited to the Bowls Big Weekend!
Hundreds of bowls clubs across England will be opening their doors over the Spring Bank Holiday to give everyone the opportunity to try bowls for free, meaning residents throughout Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland can sign up and discover a fun sport full of benefits for the body and mind!
Bowls' Big Weekend, partnered with Aviva, will run this year from Friday 24th to Monday 27th May, and anyone can take part. Simply head to BowlsBigWeekend.com, find a club near you and register for their event.
The event makes having a go easy, with bowls clubs across the country providing fun and free introductory sessions for all ages and abilities.
After signing up, you'll receive more information to make the most of your visit, and the clubs will be informed of your attendance so they can provide you with the warm welcome bowls is known for.
Now in its fourth year, the weekend celebration promises to be the biggest and best yet, with over 660 clubs from across the country taking part – 100 more than in 2023 – so find the club that's most suitable for you, get your shoes and bowl 'em over!
