This case study looks at the success of Lutterworth's Robins Netball Club after they have offered training sessions and matches for beginner adults and juniors.

The club wanted to provide opportunities for beginners to develop and enable women of all ages and abilities to participate in netball.

The club delivered a nine-week Back to Netball programme in January 2022, which coincided with the local female participation programme JUST Get Involved. The sessions proved to be extremely popular, attracting 30 participants and generating 140 attendances.

Participants have found it to be extremely beneficial not only for their physical health but also for their mental well being.

This Case Study is taken from the Active Together Annual Review 21/22. The document provides a snapshot of the work of the Active Together Board, team and partners and what we have done in partnership to encourage the communities in Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland to be physically active and move more.
