Sign up to the Storytelling through Dance course!

Every child loves a bedtime story and even if you don't admit, most people love being told a tall tale. But one way that storytelling can be made all the better and all the more active is with a bit of dancing.

That's why a Storytelling Through Dance course is being held at Hinckley Leisure Centre on 29th June. This one day course for Early Years Practitioners, exploring how to use dance to bring stories to life!

People have danced for as long as time recalls, with one of the earliest recordings of dancing coming in religious ceremonies that told the stories of ancient myths and gods. Things have evolved a little bit since then and what has gone from a special occasion sort of thing has transformed into a subconscious movement.

And dancing acts as a way to help portray a story, in a way that words cannot. This course, costing £20, will help to get a better understanding of how to tell a tale through dancing.
