GO GOLD Athlete of the Week - Danielle Tomlinson

In the latest of our GO GOLD coverage, Danielle Tomlinson is our Athlete of the Week!

With an already impressive resume that contains county records, Olympic trials and British Nationals qualification, Tomlinson tells all about the battle of balancing swimming and studying, and why she wants to meet the GOAT.

If you won the lottery what would be the first thing that you bought?

A huge house in the sunny south of France and an Aston Martin!

Where is your favourite place to go on holiday and why?

America, as it's hot and there's plenty to do. I enjoy holidays where there is non-stop action and nice weather.

Tell us one thing we don't know about you?

I've always been very sporty; i used to do Judo and athletics until I was 15. On the opposite side of the spectrum I also enjoy art, I studied it at A level and some of my pieces have been sold to various people.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Trying to stay motivated this year due to my shoulder injury and studies.

Have you ever met anyone famous?

Yes, I've met a few Olympians. However I'd love to meet the GOAT (greatest of all time), Michael Phelps!
