LLEP has teamed up with Microsoft's Get On programme to upskill the local workforce

The LLEP have partnered with Microsoft to provide a suite of resources to support organisations helping people back into work or to upskill themselves and progress in their career. All the resources are free to LLEP partners and can be accessed via links on the attachment or below. This has been provided by Microsoft's 'Get On' programme.

There are four areas available which can be used as stand alone resources or to support existing employability work (e.g. as modules):

  1. LinkedIn Learning – this previously paid-for service is now free via the LLEP code. This provides on-line learning for a range of in-demand jobs including Project Manager, Customer Service, Data Analyst and many more
  2. Microsoft Learn – more advanced courses for deeper technical skills such as PowerBi, Azure and introductions to Software Engineering
  3. Microsoft Workshops – a variety of Microsoft led workshops on employability topics including CVs, interviews, Excel, Teams and lots more
  4. Interview Prep Tool – an AI powered interview tool to practice interview technique
