Team Leicestershire: Primary Basketball Finals

Congratulations to every school that made it to the Team Leicestershire Primary Basketball County Finals which were held at the Morningside Arena on the 11^th March. All the schools in attendance had won their local area competition to qualify for this EXCEL event. Excel events are all about giving young people the opportunity to compete and strive to be the best they can be.

It was a huge achievement to even make it to the final and the atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic, it was clear that participants were thrilled to be playing at the home of the Leicester Riders team! There were plenty of silky dribbling skills on display, and several 3 pointers were witnessed, much to the delight of the spectators in the crowd. It was great to see lots of teams not only cheering on their own team, but also other schools and teams as well. Thank you all for making it such a great competition!
