Three separate winners in Team Leicestershire futsal finals

A triple header of Team Leicestershire Futsal produced three exhilarating nights at Beauchamp College.

Running from Tuesday-Thursday, there were three separate wins as the Team Leicestershire titles made their way to three different districts.

With a high standard in all three competitions, the girls proved once again that they can do it just as well as the boys, with strong showings from every team.

Sides were split into two groups, with the top side from each meeting at the end of the three evenings. The first final of the week was solely for Year 7's and Brookvale High School beat Thomas Estley Community College 2-1, edging their way to the Team Leicestershire trophy after an evenly matched contest.

The Year 8/9 final saw Bosworth beat De Lisle 3-0, easing to victory after bursting out of the blocks to take a quick three goal lead.

And in the Year 10/11 competition, Thomas Estley bounced back from disappointment earlier in the week to beat The Martin High School 3-0.
