Gripping Counter-Attacking Play as 6 Schools Crowned Team Leicestershire Basketball County Champions

Yesterday saw the boys' basketball finals held at the Leicester Arena, with 8 teams going head to head in the finals featuring year 7-11 and U19s.

Harrison Gamble presented the Team Leicestershire finals with the awards of the winning teams as 6 teams were crowned as the new Leicestershire County Champions.

There were high scores all round showing that each team had to large potential in abundance. For large parts of the games, it was exciting to see teams turning opposing sides inside-out through high intensive tactical play of counter attacks. The coaches all took their games seriously by taking advantage of the time-outs at every opportunity! Scoring of the teams proved to be an all-round entertaining night.
