Sector Careers Focus - Professional Sport and Community Sport

"We need to use our brand and our power….. to change lives"

Tilly Higgs Leicester Tigers Foundation Education Manager

LLR hosts a fantastic range of professional sports clubs from Tigers to Riders and Leicester City FC to the County Cricket Club. All the clubs require support roles that are committed to achieving excellence at the highest possible level. There are many more roles attached to professional clubs than just playing and coaching. Data analysist, medical support and commentary are all part of the wider workforce supporting professional settings.

Community Sport settings use the power of sport to change people's lives. Rolls within community sport range from Wellbeing Officers to those who use sport to address anti-social behaviour, from developing clubs and volunteers to providing opportunities to participate for individuals from diverse communities.
