U-13 Boys Kick-Start the Second Day of Team Leicestershire Table Tennis Finals

It was Hastings High School who were the victors of the night in the Team Leicestershire U-13 Boys final at Judgemeadow Community College. They now go ahead and proceed to the English Schools Table Tennis Association Zone Stage, where they will play other County Champions from neighbouring counties.

Parents watched on as Gartee High School put on a brave performance against Hastings High School in the finals. Several games went right to the wire with one match being settled at 17-15 in what should have been a race to 11.

The City of Leicester College creeped in behind third place, meaning that Uppingham Community College settled for fourth place. The standards were phenomenal and despite the final positions, all schools played well where outcomes could have been very different on another day. The results of the night conclude in the following positions:

Results – Under 13 Boys

  • Winners ~ Hastings High School
  • 2nd Place ~ Gartree High School
  • 3rd Place ~ The City of Leicester College
  • 4th Place ~ Uppingham Community College
  • 5th Place ~ Limehurst Academy
  • 6th Place ~ Kibworth School
  • 7th Place ~ Belvoir High School
  • 8th Place ~ Lancaster Academy

The next Team Leicestershire event to be played is the table tennis U19 boys at Judgemeadow on 21st November, 4pm.
